Soul Collage...Inside Art

The Inner Landscape

The inner landscape is available to all of us all of the time; there is a landscape within each of us - our emotions, our experiences, our gifts, our spirit and our creativity lie in this landscape.  The landscape can be envisioned with symbols and metaphors that have been used across time and place, such as the open door, the vast universe, the closed gate, the pathway, the high mountain, the endless cave, the deep river, the dark forest, and the bright meadow.

There is also a part of our inner landscape which we may experience touching on the idea of the collective or spirit, these are the "places" that are both within and without, experienced through dreams, art, visioning, experience and interest. Symbol and metaphor are universal reflection of what has deep meaning in the lives of people, the ripples of all that has been, across cultures, time and place - these 'references and rememberings' are imbedded in our human experience and serve as individual reflections in our unique life experience.

The elements in our inner landscapes that we choose, or the ones that choose us, serve us in unexpected ways. They provide a map and environment that holds and guides each of us as we explore ourselves, our landscape, our various guides, allies and challengers through SoulCollage® and other artistic mediums of unfolding such as writing, drawing and painting. Explore the elements and aspects found in your inner landscape, as you engage in the journey.

I'll be offering special tele-calls and classes, support for art and creative expression. Please join my mail list if you are interested in the Inner Landscape/Deep River work. I am sharing the power of inner work and SoulCollage in studio, community and global/web forums:
